OUTDOOR ALLIANCE RESPONDS TO ANNOUNCEMENT OF INFLATION REDUCTION ACT OF 2022
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Outdoor Alliance released the following statement by Adam Cramer, chief executive officer, in response to the announcement from Senator Manchin and Senator Schumer’s office that they had reached a deal to address climate change, energy investments, inflation, healthcare, and the national deficit.
“Outdoor Alliance is elated to see lawmakers come to an agreement to address critical issues facing Americans, including climate change, energy independence, health care, inflation, and the country’s deficit,” said Adam Cramer, CEO of Outdoor Alliance. “We are especially grateful for the leadership of Senator Schumer and Senator Manchin in tackling climate change and ensuring that we protect our communities and planet in both the short term and the long term. Climate change is an existential threat to all of us, including the outdoor recreation community. We are looking forward to learning more about the $369 billion to address climate change and invest in renewable energy that is included in the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022. On behalf of the millions of Americans who get outside on our public lands and waters every year, Outdoor Alliance is grateful for the Senate’s work and looks forward to partnering to ensure the legislation is successful.”
