The Mountaineers Join Outdoor Alliance

Outdoor Alliance is excited to announce a new member of our coalition, The Mountaineers. The Mountaineers are based in Seattle, Washington where they help people explore, conserve, learn about and enjoy the lands and waters of the Pacific Northwest. The Mountaineers has a deep understanding of Washington State and the Pacific Northwest, a place of high importance to the outdoor recreation community. They have an engaged and active membership that values stewardship and conservation in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

Outdoor Alliance unites the voices of the outdoor recreation community to advocate for stronger protections for public lands and waters. Skiers, hikers, mountain bikers, paddlers, and climbers are deeply invested in the health and protection of places where they recreate. Outdoor Alliance unites this community of enthusiasts to protect our public lands and waters and ensure that they are managed in a way that embraces the human-powered experience.

The addition of The Mountaineers means that our collective voice, especially on issues affecting the Pacific Northwest, will be strengthened. We are looking forward to working together, especially on an upcoming campaign on the Mountains to Sound Greenway right here in Washington.
