Outdoor Alliance 2023 Year end Giveaway rules

By donating to Outdoor Alliance you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

  • The “Outdoor Alliance 2023 Year End Giveaway” is open to US residents, 21 years and older only.

  • The “Outdoor Alliance 2023 Year End Giveaway” is being conducted by Outdoor Alliance, a non-profit 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.

  • Submitted form information may be shared with our 3rd party partners.

  • There is no limit to the number of entries one person may receive.

  • Outdoor Alliance staff and their spouses are not eligible to participate in this drawing.

  • Donations can be made by credit card only. Processing fees are not counted towards the donation amount.

  • Donation amounts can be made in $5 increments.

  • Donation/Entry Schedule:

    • $5= 1 Entry

    • $10= 2 Entries

    • $25= 6 Entries (1 free entry)

    • $50= 13 Entries (3 free entries)

    • $75= 20 Entries (5 free entries)

    • $100= 30 Entries (10 free entries)

    • $150= 50 Entries (20 free entries)

    • $200= 70 Entries (30 free entries)

    • $500= 200 Entries (100 free entries)

    • $1,000= 400 Entries (200 free entries)

  • By IRS declaration, ticket purchases for valuable prizes are not eligible for charitable tax deductions.

  • Odds of winning will depend on the amount of donations received.

  • Donations can be made by the following methods: online

  • All donations must be received with full payment no later than 11:59PM PST on December 21, 2023.

  • Prize: Multiple prizes will be given away.

    • The winning individual from the Outdoor Alliance x REI Giveaway will receive one (1) E-bike (estimated value $1,140 USD), one (1) bike rack bag (estimated value $50 USD), and one (1) backpack (estimated value $62 USD).

    • The winning individual from the Outdoor Alliance x Patagonia Giveaway will receive one (1) down sweater jacket (estimated value $320 USD), one (1) packing cube set (estimated value $135 USD), and one (1) duffel (estimated value $169 USD).

    • The winning individual from the Outdoor Alliance x The North Face Giveaway will receive one (1) tent (estimated value $350 USD), one (1) sleeping bag (estimated value $250 USD), and one (1) duffel (estimated value $150 USD).

    • The winning individual from the Outdoor Alliance x Grand Finale Giveaway will receive (1) two night stay at Field Station, subject to blackout dates and availability (estimated value $350 USD), one (1) Peak Design backpack (estimated value $145 USD), and one (1) YETI Hopper personal cooler (estimated value $250 USD).

  • All prizes subject to availability and inventory. If a prize is not available in the advertised size or style, prize will be swapped out with an item of similar value.

  • Prizes cannot be exchanged.

  • Drawings will be held no later than December 31 at 12:00pm EST at a location determined by Outdoor Alliance. The winner will be determined by random selection.

  • Winners will be notified by email within one (1) day of the drawing.

  • The prize winner is solely responsible for all local, state and federal taxes, title, transfer fees, license duties, insurance and all expenses incurred in claiming the prize. The Grand Prize winner understands, acknowledges, and agrees that they are receiving a prize and will hereby release and discharge Outdoor Alliance, and any additional sponsors, agents, officers, directors and legal representatives and assigns from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses or expenses arising from or caused by the award of such prize, including, but not limited to the payment of any and all taxes that are due.

  • Prize must be claimed by January 5, 2024. Any unclaimed prize after that date will constitute forfeiture and be transferred to Outdoor Alliance as a donation.

  • Outdoor Alliance, its Board of Directors, and its agents assume no liability for lost, late, misdirected, mutilated, incomplete, illegible, or entries without payment which will be deemed invalid and disqualified.

  • The decisions and rules of Outdoor Alliance are final on all matters concerning the drawing.

  • Void where prohibited by law.

  • No purchase necessary to enter the drawing. To enter without purchase, mail a handwritten postcard to Administrator at: Outdoor Alliance, PO Box 66041, Washington, DC 20035. Containing your (i) full name (if a minor, your parent/legal guardian’s name as well); (2) mailing address, including street address, city, state/district, and zip code (P.O. boxes not accepted); (3) telephone number; (4) email address; (5) date of birth; and (6) a statement that, “I have read, understand, and agree to be bound by the Official Rules for the “Outdoor Alliance 2023 Year End Giveaway”. All write-in entries must be received by December 21. There is a limit of one (1) write-in entry per person.
