EXPLORE ACT
Outdoor Alliance worked to develop, champion, and pass this first-of-its-kind recreation package. The bill includes the Outdoors for All Act, which creates parks and green spaces in neighborhoods that need it; the SOAR Act, which helps guides and outfitters like The Mountaineers get new people into the outdoors; gives permanent direction to FICOR, to help land management agencies coordinate on recreation; helps to identify and create long-distance bike trails; protects sustainable climbing in Wilderness; and ensures that land management agencies identify outdoor recreation, which helps protect against conflicts with other uses.
The EXPLORE Act was a decade-long effort from Outdoor Alliance and our partners, and passed unanimously through Congress.
